The Wall Live tour promotes human rights with RFID

The Wall Live concert tour by Roger Waters, formerly of Pink Floyd, concluded with the innovative use of RFID technology from Intellitix, according to Music Week.
Ticket-holders were each given RFID wristbands that could be linked to their social media profiles and then used to check in, update status and post updates or photos directly to their profile while at the event. With some 70,000 attendees, the wristbands were also used to provide quick entry to the show.
Event organizers said the use of RFID beneficial in spreading the word to promote Amnesty International, the non-governmental organization focused on human rights.
