Tiny Tag accomodates tracking small items

DAILY RFID revealed a new small-sized RFID tag measuring 7 millimeters in diameter, cleverly dubbed the RFID Tiny Tag.
The miniature RFID read and write tag operates in the 13.56 MHz frequency with support for the ISO 15693 protocol. These, in turn, offer a read and write distance ranging from 2 centimeters on up to 10 centimeters.
Each tag features 3M adhesive backing and the ability last up to 10 years with a EMS memory that can be wiped and re-written more than 100,000 times. In addition, it is anti-acid, anti-alkali and waterproof.
The Tiny Tag is ideally suited for proximity tracking such as asset tracking applications, inventory management and other some small objects tracking, so as to improve management and strengthen security of valuable assets.
