U.S. Bank and Colorado State University-Pueblo are partnering to produce the ThunderCard, a campus card that grants students access to their dorm rooms, serves as a meal ticket and also acts as an ATM/debit card for those who sign up for the bank’s services.
According to the Pueblo Chieftain newspaper, the university is one of eight schools nationwide using a similar card.
“This new technology will provide many everyday conveniences for our students, faculty and staff,” added A. Ramon Garcia, auxiliary services director at CSU-Pueblo.
“U.S. Bank is excited about adding Colorado State University-Pueblo to our list of campus
banking partners,” said Alice Birch, president of U.S. Bank in the Pueblo market.
