UAE looking into biometric real estate conveyance services

Under the United Arab Emirate’s (UAE) e-Government initiative, an American company has thrown its hat into the ring to help create a high-technology real estate title conveyance service in Dubai, according to an AME Info article. The purpose of the service being developed is to more seamlessly and securely enable the real estate transactions.
The company behind it, enTrust and Title, also asserts that biometric authentication will be utilized to ensure those involved in the transaction have the authority and ownership necessary to move forward with the deal. Further, the biometric aspect of the system being developed will allow for better security of the sensitive or personal data of the sellers and buyers involved that will be stored only to be unlocked via their own biometric signature.
