The University of Georgia’s new ticketless admission program for football games received high marks from students who used the system for the first time last weekend.
“It went a lot more smoothly than I really thought it would. It was much more convenient than it has been in the past,” said one student. “It was just easier, not having to go pick up tickets. It saved a lot of time for everyone.”
All students have to do now is present their student ID cards at the gate, which are then scanned with bar code readers. The students also received colored wristbands designating the student sections they are supposed to sit in, rather than paper tickets designating a specific seat and section.
