UPM Raflatac and its partners are planning to present various RFID solutions at the upcoming National Retail Federation’s 99th Annual Convention and Expo, held in New York City.
At its booth, UPM will be demontrating and enabling interaction with its various applications, all of which are targeted towards helping retailers increase revenue by streamlining product sales and inventory management.
Visitors can see a golf shop demonstration, using Seeonic’s SightWare module and Seeniq software, along with UPM Raflatac’s ultra high frequency ShortDipole and Web tags as electronic article surveillance, set to improve inventory management.
Also featured is a sunglass display from 5Stat, which uses UPM Raflatac Satellite ultra-high-frequency RFID tags. These tags offer targeted sales support by recognizing sunglasses tagged with similar options and accessories and enabling users to take and send pictures via e-mail to obtain a second opinion on merchandise they are considering purchasing.
One of two interactive booths visitors can expect is 5Stat’s smart fitting rooms which enable users to obtain additional information on clothing tagged with UPM Raflatac ShortDipole ultra high frequency RFID tags. Participants can search for coordinating accessories to access live sales assistance easily and quickly, and generate more sales.
The event is set to take place on Jan. 10-13.
