Holland 1916, a manufacturer of rugged identification products, announced a new webinar, “Risk Mitigation Through RFID Technology” to be held on Sept. 12 at 1:00 p.m. CDT.
In this free webinar, RFID Oil and Gas Consortium, Holland 1916, and Field ID will discuss how RFID improves safety and optimizes performance to mitigate risks for energy companies. The trio will describe how RFID technology is reducing risks in the oil and gas industry in the areas of maintenance recording, inspection audits and asset tracking.
Oil and gas companies have rigorous corporate procedures for process safety, occupational safety and people management. These are often paper-based procedures, and when thousands of people and equipment interact there is a critical gap in the assurance loop, said Zack Barron, director of RFID sales at Holland 1916.
The webinar will show how industry leaders who have utilized RFID to address risk management often improve results in better practices, more robust procedures and reduced incidents and fatalities.
