Xerafy has certified the Sky-ID high memory, ultra-high frequency RFID tag to be SAE AS5678 compliant for meeting the industry regulatory approvals of RFID use for airborne aircraft parts, such as the Airbus A350 XWB RFID initiative.
The new Sky-ID tag passed independent laboratory tests to withstand specific variations in temperature, air pressure, vibration, shock and other environmental factors required by SAE AS5678.
The Sky-ID tag comes with 4K bytes and 8K bytes in memory size to help aviation companies build a view of its supply chain for the flyable operations, include visibility maintenance history across organizations, reduced occurrence of “no fault found” conditions and improved configuration management and line maintenance.
Additionally, Xerafy have been qualified by Tego to work well with software and readers to store manufacturer data and maintenance history information according to the ATA Spec2000 standard for flyable parts.
