GAO RFID has just announced the release of its new UHF active RFID tag, specially designed to identify and perform micro-localization of items or persons.
The GAOStrip Active Tag is intended for use in applications such as security, manufacturing, asset and vehicle management.
According to GAO, the lightweight 25g tag consumes little energy due to an innovative 0.18um low power CMOS integrated circuit. The tag also features 4 year battery life, as well as anti-collision programming that allows 100 tags to be read simultaneously without interference.
