MULTOS provider StepNexus has purchased GlobalPlatform on MULTOS technology from Sentry, meaning MULTOS can now provide compatibility with existing GlobalPlatform systems. Terms of the deal between the two privately held companies were not released.

Using piezo inkjet technology with pigmented and UV inks, the company’s MS200 ensures the printing of high definition 2D barcodes and color images for passport data pages.
