Fujitsu releases waterproof phone with embedded biometric security

Fujitsu, a developer of biometric and other technologies, has released the world’s first waterproof mobile phone with embedded biometric fingerprint security, according to a Register Hardware article. The new phone, called the F-01A, can be fully submersed in water up to 1 meter deep for up to thirty minutes. In addition to the waterproof nature the phone, it also sports a touch screen, 5.2-megapixel camera and has e-Wallet support.
