Indigo Books & Music, Canada’s largest book retailer, is partnering with MasterCard Canada to roll out PayPass contactless payment technology in all stores across the country.
Ingigo’s 249 book stores, including 96 superstores, ‘The World’s Biggest Bookstore,’ and 151 small format stores, have already installed more than 1,000 PayPass point-of-sale payment terminals, according to the company.
The technology will allow customers with a PayPass-enabled MasterCard credit card or mobile phone to pay for their purchases with a simple tap on a PayPass point-of-sale payment terminal.
