AlertPay opts for TeleSign products for fraud reduction

Global payments provider AlertPay has added two TeleSign products to help reduce fraud.
The first product, TeleSign’s Telephone Verification, has helped fend off attacks from basic fraudsters, reducing AlertPay’s fraud rate by 5%. The second, TeleSign’s PhoneID, enables AlertPay to block non-fixed VoIP numbers, which has help to reduce fraud rates an additional 8%. This product also removes the need for AlertPay to conduct manual reviews.
AlertPay chose the TeleSign products because they provided scalable real-time identification at an affordable price, said Mohammend Hashemi, director of product strategy, AlertPay, in a press release.
