RFID Journal published a brief news analysis of the new CaptureTech RFID Wedge, a device intended to make RFID easier to install (if all those e-learning courses aren’t working!).
Here’s the quick lowdown:
- The Wedge, developed by Baltimore, Md.-based Barcoding, Inc., is designed to make RFID technology “more accessible to users,” according to the Journal. Especailly those operating closed-loop auto-ID systems.
- The CaptureTech RFID Wedge sits between any EPC Gen 2 RFID interrogator and any computer with a USB port. There it filters out data and caputures the important stuff.
