Corporate Art Force, a provider of art procurement services, announced it will be applying RFID tags on all artwork placed at client sites. The company’s portfolio includes over 13,000 pieces of artwork at more than 100 client sites in 40 different states.
This new RFID asset tracking technology will provide clients of Corporate Art Force the ability to efficiently locate their art assets and utilize the of the company’s inventory management module, SmartArt Program.
SmartArt Program is designed for effectively evaluating an existing art inventory, assigning art for resale and reuse, and creating a new standardized art program integrating the full capabilities of the company.
The program is currently being piloted with a Fortune 500 company near Minneapolis, the headquarters of Corporate Art Force. When implemented, the art management program will be a process that enables organizations to fully maximize the asset value of their artwork inventory.
