DAILY’s new SD card turns any smart phone into an RFID reader

DAILY RFID has released a new SD card designed to turn any smart phone or PDA into a contactless reader.
The plug-and-play SD RFID Reader, which is about the size of a postage stamp, can be inserted into the SD card slot of mobile devices to enable contactless 13.56MHz card or tag reading. Compatible with Microsoft Pocket PC 2002/2003 Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0, Palm OS4.1 or LINUX operating system, the card can also transfer RFID tag information via WiFi, GPRS or Bluetooth.
In addition, the SD Reader features LED indication for standby search and data communications. Ideal applications for the device include logistics, parcel tracking, ticket management, warehouse management, contactless or cashless payment.
