category: RFID
Ekahau has introduced three new wireless temperature and humidity sensor tags that provide an automated way to measure, monitor and manage areas where changes in the environment could be harmful.
The tags are designed to assist with regulatory compliance – tracking critical assets and people – thus improving operations in industries including health care, retail, manufacturing and hospitality.
The Ekahau tags are wireless and battery powered, and can be configured and deployed in various environments without having to run cabling for power and connectivity.
The tags have a battery life of up to three years and are capable of sampling temperature and/or humidity every 15 seconds, or as required for the specific application. The tags offer audible and visual alarm indicators as well as programmable alarm limits and local data logging.
Ekahau will be displaying and demonstrating these new tags at Booth 3701 during HIMSS11 Annual Conference & Exhibition, February 20-24, 2011, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.
