Litle & Co., a payment management platform for merchants in direct-to-consumer commerce, has named a former MasterCard executive to its newly-created position of “payments evangelist.” Tom Pouliot’s goal will be to educate employees and merchants while also serving as briefings executive on the payments industry-at-large, market trends, issues and competitive positioning.
Pouliot has served the payment processing and bank card industry for 20 years. Prior to joining Litle & Co., Pouliot had founded his own independent sales organization, Alliance Merchant Services. He has also served as vice president of Payment Processing for Promisant Ltd., a multi-currency processing company in Hamilton, Bermuda, and was vice president of Electronic Commerce for MasterCard International, where he served on the International Security Committee, the International Operating Committee and was a representative on the EMV Chip card standards board.
Based in Lowell, Mass., Litle & Co. provides support for merchants who sell goods and services directly to consumers. Providing transaction processing and consultative merchant services for card-not-present and alternative payments, the company’s payments platform is designed to meet the needs of companies in direct response, multichannel retail, Internet retail, and online services.
