HID releases new inlays for electronic documents

HID Global announced the launch of its crack-resistant polycarbonate inlays and prelaminates targted to meet the secure and stringent needs of governmental agencies and organizations using e-documents. This new product is designed to prevent cracking and extend the overall lifetime of mono block polycarbonate electronic identification cards and electronic passports.
The inlays and prelaminates are constructed from HID Global’s patented technologies and ceFLEX material, which enables full protection of the electronics to withstand daily mechanical wear and tampering attacks.
Designed to comply with and exceed ISO and ICAO specifications and standards, the inlays and prelaminates accommodate a wide range of customer requirements and proven modules types.
HID Global’s Crack-Resistant Polycarbonate Inlays and Prelaminates, as well as its full portfolio of converged products for cashless payment, transit, access control, identification and logical access will be on display in the HID Global stand (#3H002) at CARTES & IDentification 2008 in Paris, France, from November 4 – 6.
