Mercedes has set up RFID-equipped kiosks at 2011 PGA Championship in Atlanta. The German automaker will issue some 25,000 RFID passes that guests can use to register and link to post status updates on their Facebook accounts, according to Mashable.
Using ODIN Technologies’ EasyConnect platform, guests at the annual golf tournament will have the opportunity to “Like” Mercedes cars at the event, check in and change their status, and even upload photos and videos.
