Narian Technologies launched NFC Paging, a solution designed to streamline customers service using NFC tags and mobile phones.
Under the NFC Paging system, a customer entering a shop or restaurant taps their NFC phone against an NFC tag. This automatically pages the store’s employees to attend to the customer. Once the customer is reached, the employee taps his or her NFC-enabled ID badge to the customer’s phone, confirming to management that the customer was served in a timely manner.
According Narian, the solution works out of the box with most existing NFC tags, and features a “One Step” NFC tag writing application for retailers.
“What Narian wants to do is give businesses and consumers a smart and intuitive technology that’s designed to not solve the service dilemma, but at least make it a lot better,” commented Einhar Rosenberg, CEO of Narian Technologies.
Narian has priced NFC Paging at $20 per month, but the company says it will provide the service free to the first 500 businesses who sign up, according to a release.
