At this week’s ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly Conference & Exhibition, NEC Corporation is launching its line of aviation technologies designed for airport operators and airline agencies around the world.
NEC’s first new product is NEC IDentiBoard, an airline boarding security system that provides secured seamless processing of passenger details throughout the boarding process. It can manage details from check-in, immigration clearance and airport security to boarding, utilizing fully automated uni- or multi-modal biometrics recognition.
The second product is a Flight Information Display System (FIDS) that instantly relays information related to flights, airport operations and other topics of interest to passengers and airport staff. This system has already been implemented in Japan’s Haneda International Airport to provide real-time travel information.
The 7th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly Conference & Exhibition is being held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from May 22-25.
