A new product called RosettaStone has just been released, enabling bereaved to provide more information about departed loved ones on gravestones, according to slashgear.com.
The device, which is a small polymer stick-on tag called a Data Tag, uses NFC technology to send images and texts to visitors’ smart phones when passed in front of the grave.
Users stick the Data Tag directly on to the headstone and upload text and photos directly to a special archive site accessible only to the buyer.
For those without smart phones, the company has a simpler system that provides a URL for the particular grave site, that when visited Online includes the same photos and texts.
