Northrup Gumman to unveil new system at London expo

Northrup Grumman Corp., a developer of biometric technology solutions, has announced it will unveil a new biometric system aimed at the law enforcement community, according to a UPI article.
The system, which will be shown at an upcoming counter-terrorism conference exhibit in London, will allow for mobile scanning of fingerprint, iris and face data as well as deliver matches in real-time from a remote database.
Other security devices intended to assist law enforcement and security personnel in addition to Northrup Grumman’s are also planned for the conference exhibit. Among them are a Livescan system that allows a user to scan fingerprint or palmprints in real-time searchable databases and a system designed for the 2012 London Olympics security operations that will assist in emergency dispatch situations.
