Smart wallet secures items with biometrics

A new “smart” wallet called iWallet will be released later this month, according to a DVice article. The wallet comes with a multitude of security features, amongst which include biometric locking. The wallet has an embedded fingerprint scanner that unlocks the wallet enabling it to be opened for access to its contents.
In addition to the biometric security, the wallet also has a Bluetooth feature that sends out a squealing alarm should it be more than 15 to 30 feet away from the owner’s mobile phone. The wallet comes in three varieties where the carbon fiber or kevlar and carbon fiber mix costs $600 and a fiberglass option costs $299.
