Subway’s 7,000 restaurants will join the nearly 341,000 merchant locations worldwide already accepting PayPass, including quick-service restaurants, retailers, airports, sports stadiums and arenas, supermarkets, vending machines and taxis.
As of the second quarter of 2011, nearly 100 million PayPass-enabled cards and devices have been issued worldwide, according to MasterCard.
