Texas hospital district turn green with SensoTech
The Harris County Hospital District, the nation’s fifth largest metropolitan health system, has chosen to go with SensoTech for implementing wireless temperature monitoring systems and data loggers.
Prided on its green technology, SensoTech’s platform does not require any software installation or external servers – cutting costs of infrastructure, IT support and power consumption.
SensoTech’s system makes use of wireless sensors, which continuously transmit temperature data to an embedded receiver, where the unit’s built-in Web server translates it. Information is then available for viewing by any user who has authorized access, via a web browser.
SensoTech’s wireless temperature monitoring system has the capability for alerting and reporting via pager, PDA, cell phone, smart phone, voice notification, lights and sirens.
