A Zebra Technologies printer/encoder has been chosen by three U.S. government contractors to help them fulfill a contract recently awarded by the U.S. Army. Lowry Computer Products, Northrop Grumman Corporation and ODIN technologies selected the Zebra RZ400 for the passive RFID hardware component.
Under the terms of the contract, the prime contractors and their business partner networks will provide complete RFID solutions, software, acquisition support and technical services to the DOD Joint Services, Federal agencies, NATO and multinational forces.
The Zebra RZ400 is a UHF RFID Gen 2 midrange printer/encoder suited for on-demand printing/encoding of 4-inch, EPC-compliant RFID labels and tags for supply chain and asset tracking applications. Additional advantages of the RZ400 in military supply chain applications include wireless connectivity, multi-language support and integration into existing IT platforms and applications.
