DAILY RFID released an ultra-high frequency EPC Gen 2 hang tag to streamline the manual inventory processes in fashion and apparel applications. It is suitable for use in a wide range of applications fields, such as in apparel retail, garment rental operations.
Hundreds of the hang tags can be read per second at a range of 4 meters using an ultra-high frequency reader. Information about the garment – product name, model number, place of origin and location – is shown on the host computer.
It is designed to easily and conveniently track garments allowing sales to focus more on customer interaction. The hang tag offers password protected functions to protect important data in case of business information leakage.
With the use of EPC Gen 2 tags, the entire supply chain in fashion and apparel can be optimized to better manage processes in the distribution center and provide greater product availability at the point of sale.
