Clear2Pay has announced that the Korea Electric Testing Institute (KETI), an organization dedicated to enhancing the safety and quality of electronic products, has selected Clear2Pay’s Integri test tools for the testing of digital communication between NFC devices.
KETI, which plans to to help introduce a mobile payment infrastructures based on NFC technology to South Korea, has acquired three different tools from Clear2Pay that enable KETI to validate NFC devices:
First, the Listen Device Test Suite covers all NFC Forum standard test cases where the NFC-enabled device behaves like a passive-target contactless tag.
The Poll Device Test Suite covers all standard test cases where the NFC device behaves like as active-initiator contactless terminal that communicates with an NFC tag.
And finally, the Peer-to-Peer Device Test Suite covers all standard test cases where two target/initiator NFC devices transfer data in active or passive mode.
The Integri test suites are targeted for use by official NFC Forum certification laboratories, and are available for the market’s debugging and in-house pre-certification needs.
