The Pompidou Center in Paris is opening a new Teen Gallery that will feature NFC tagged works of art, according to The Register.
The museum will place tags next to teach exhibit so that visitors can use NFC handsets (provided by the museum) to learn more about the artwork and share it with their friends online.
The handsets, provided by Sagem, feature an application that allows users to make comments about the works of art and upload them to their Facebook accounts, along with information about the gallery and links to the artist’s other works.
The new gallery is set to open next year.
